The Risk of Gathering.



Why would people who were strangers just a few weeks ago, choose to gather together to eat, to sing, to pray, to study the Word of God. It seems like a risky endeavor, to open yourself up to strangers, surely your differences would soon repel each other. Who does things like this? Why would a family travel three and a half hours, rent a hotel, do community life, and then drive back the next day? Is it because He is risen? Is it because of the Love we have been shown and the call to follow Him and make fishers of men? Is it because this is what it means be human: to love, to seek after God's Kingdom, to be in community? We believe it is.
